Manga Heart Responds to Allegations and Reaffirms Commitment to Good Governance and Safeguarding.

Manga Heart wishes to inform its partners, stakeholders, beneficiaries, and the public that the Board of Directors has taken immediate and appropriate action following the receipt of a communication from the International Solidarity Foundation (ISF) regarding allegations involving a member of staff. The alleged incident does not connect to manga heart activities, beneficiaries or programs.

The Board of Directors has fulfilled its governance obligations in accordance with Manga Heart's policies, safeguarding framework, and organizational procedures. As part of these measures, the Board has formally relieved the staff member implicated in the allegations of their operational roles and responsibilities to ensure the integrity and independence of the ongoing process.

The organization fully supports the ongoing investigations and will continue to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and relevant stakeholders to ensure that due process is followed.

We wish to reassure our beneficiaries, communities, donors, partners, and stakeholders that this allegation concerns the conduct on an individual in their personal capacity. It does not reflect the values, integrity or day to day operations of manga heart nor does it diminish our continued commitment to serving our communities in professionalism, accountability and respect for human rights.
